Has God Abandoned the Christian West?

Just as God tore most of the kingdom away from Solomon, so is God tearing most of our domain away from us?

Of course, the context is different, and the processes are different. But the principle remains the same:

God entrusts those who commit to Him with resources, power and wisdom and if we squander those on ourselves God tears them away.

Though God did not entirely abandon Solomon, leaving one tiny bit to him for the sake of David, is God largely abandoning the Christian West?

It certainly seems so to me. God sent warnings and we refused to listen to listen - and some Christians took the lead in refusing to listen. Now God is bringing disaster on the 'Christian' West by allowing in a ruler who reverts to the despotism of the Roman emperors before the Lord Jesus Christ came. By one stroke after another, he is undoing almost all that the Gospel of Christ has built up over two millennia. "Might is Right" is what his actions say, and "My whim reigns!"

Not only by the doing of these things, but by the taste and smell they leave behind after bring done. Just as the French and British carved up the Middle East and respected not the people of the area, leaving a long stench for decades, so will his actions leave a long stench for decades. A stench that only the Aroma of Christ can remove, and that very very slowly as the seed growing which the farmer forgot about.

Meanwhile, China has a quickly multiplying Christian population, which will begin to bring the Gospel of Christ into the culture of that part of the world over the next few decades. Is that God's Plan? Is it time (kairos) for the Gospel of Christ to bless another part of the world?
