God mandated humanity to care for the Earth and tend it,
to represent ("image") God to the rest of Creation.
The world and humanity would bless each other, glorifying God.
Humanity refused the mandate,
and began destroying the world including each other.
God promised salvation, via Abraham [Genesis 12:3].
God raised up two 'witnesses', two representatives:
Because the Jews refused the mandate to represent God,
God scattered and exiled them - but continued God's Plan.
Have the Christians also refused the mandate to represent God,
by siding with evil that is destroying the Earth
- selfishness and idolatry of material affluence and 'security'?
Especially in the USA (seen by the world as 'Christian')?
Will God 'scatter' or 'exile' Christians in like manner?
Is God sending warnings:
credit crisis, covid crisis, conflict crises? Climate crisis?
To warn us to repent of our idolatry
of comfort, affluence, arrogance and unconcern [Ezekiel 16:49]
which is destroying the Earth [Rev 11:18]?
We have a short time left in which to repent.
Should we curb our material affluence and live more responsibly on God's Earth?
Or will God destroy us?
And continue God's Plan with others?
